The entrepreneurial dream takes shape
2016: 2016 is a pivotal year. Founder Vivi Kobberup has long harbored a dream of jewelry and entrepreneurship, and after much contemplation, she embarks on the journey that becomes Sisi Copenhagen. You can read much more about Vivi's story and her goals for the company here.
At that time, the jewelry collection could fit into a small shoebox, which framed the small venture. Vivi was therefore the only employee and began to gradually build a real business.
2017: Throughout 2017, Sisi Copenhagen gains momentum and is established as a company. The collection grows, moving out of the small shoebox and into a small cabinet. Slowly but surely, more and more people become aware of the beautiful jewelry.
The collection grows
2018: Sisi Copenhagen evolves rapidly and has grown to double its size every year since 2016. By 2018, sales have picked up so much that Vivi hires her first colleague. The jewelry's current home in the small cabinet has become too cramped, so an entire room is dedicated to the purpose.
2020: As the business becomes busier, more tasks arise. We hire our first full-time employee, and the company moves once again to larger premises.

Vivis partner, Christian, is introduced to Sisi Copenhagen.
Sisi Copenhagen expands beyond the country’s borders and establishes websites in Norway, Sweden, and the rest of the EU.
At the end of 2021, we open the doors to our physical store and headquarters, allowing us to welcome all our wonderful customers much closer to our jewelry universe.
We begin to explore exclusive materials and launch our Fine Jewelry collection, which consists of 9 kt solid gold jewelry.
2022: After the 2022 financial results, Sisi Copenhagen receives its first Gazelle Award. A hugely significant moment for us, who started in a small shoebox. We also reach our first 100,000 orders, and we value every customer who has been part of the journey.
Diamond Collection and Custom Designs
2023: In 2023, we launch our most exclusive collection, the Diamond Collection, which features our ethically produced lab-grown diamonds.
We also receive our second Gazelle Award.
2024: The journey continues for Sisi Copenhagen. In 2024, we work on custom-designed jewelry to fulfill exactly the jewelry dream you have. We have many ideas and ambitions for the future, and we look forward to building further on our story.
