Ring size guide

At Sisi Copenhagen, ring sizes are based on the ring’s inner circumference in millimeters. This means that a size 54 ring has an inner circumference of 54 mm.

If you don’t already know your ring size, you can easily measure it yourself. When measuring your ring size, keep in mind that your fingers are smaller when they are cold and larger when they are warm. It is therefore important to measure the circumference of your finger when your hands are at a normal temperature.

How to measure your your finger circumference:

You can either use a string or a strip of paper and wrap it around the finger you want to wear the ring on. Decide where the string or strip sits most comfortably on your finger and mark the intersection with a pen. Lay the string or strip flat and measure the length in millimeters up to the mark.

That’s it! You now have your finger circumference - and therefore your ring size.

Find your ring size by measuring a ring you already have:

If you already have a ring that fits well, you can measure its diameter and match it to the ring sizes in our grade below.

5 best tips for getting a diamond ring as a gift or engagement ring

Tip 1: Decide which finger the ring will be worn on
The right ring size depends on which finger the ring will be worn on. First, determine which finger the ring is intended for and whether it will be worn on the right or left hand. This can affect the size, as the fingers on your dominant hand are often slightly larger. For an engagement ring, the ring is typically worn on the left ring finger.

Tip 2: Measure an existing ring
If the recipient already wears a ring on the finger you are buying for, you can measure it by using the method given above. If you choose to measure an existing ring, we recommend that you make sure that it fits perfectly on the intended finger.

Tip 3: When you doubt, go for an even size
If you are unsure about the size, we recommend choosing a size that is already available in our collection. We can always adjust the fit afterwards to make sure the ring fits right.

Tip 4: When you doubt, go slightly bigger rather than smaller
We recommend choosing a size that is slightly too large rather than too small. It makes the adjustment easier for us and gives you the best result.

Tip 5: Remember that we offer one free ring fitting within 3 months of your purchase
We love when you surprise someone with a diamond ring and we want to make it easy for you, even if the size is not quite right. That is why we offer one free ring fitting within 3 months of your purchase, so the ring ends up fitting exactly as it should.
