The width of your wedding band
The width of your wedding band is the measurement from one edge of the ring to the other when looked at from above. The width plays an important role in how the ring looks on the finger and how it feels to wear.
Our wedding bands are available in widths from 2 mm - 6 mm, with 3.5 - 5 mm being the most popular among both men and women.

What does it mean for the ring’s appearance?
The width affects how discrete or prominent the ring appears on the hand.
Narrow rings (2-3 mm) create a light and elegant look and can be particularly flattering if you have a smaller hand. Wider rings range (5-6 mm) take up more space on the finger and are more noticeable in their appearance.
Many women choose a slightly thinner ring, while men often prefer a wider ring. However, in the end, the choice mainly narrows down to your own preferences and what feels best on your hand.
What should you consider when choosing width?
When choosing width size, we recommend considering the following:
- The look you prefer - discreet or more pronounced
- How the ring feels on your finger in everyday wear
- The size and proportions of your finger
If you have a different width in mind, we can also custom-make rings after your wishes. Simply fill out the contact form at the bottom of the product page or write to us at diamond@sisicph.dk with your wishes for your wedding band.
